V FestivalJust a week or so after the V Festival 2005 named the likes of Oasis and Co. on the bill, The Ordinary Boys follow in their footsteps!

The Jam-esque Britpoppers have risen in popularity since the release of their ‘Over the Counterculture’ album in 2004.

Oasis, fellow Brit awards winners Franz Ferdinand and The Scissor Sisters are all co-headlining the 2005 V-Festival.

Oasis – fronted by Gallagher brothers, Noel and Liam – are sure to bring their distinctive style of anthemic-rock to this year’s festival.

There’s also a new album entitled Don’t Believe The Truth due for release in late May 2005, so festival goers at V will be the first few to hear these new tracks live!

This is also the first time that Oasis have played the V Festival.

The two Lauras’ V confession

March 3, 2009

V Festival

It’s not often we that we get sent stories that make us laugh out loud here at V but this is one of them! The two Laura’s, we commend you:

“My best friend, Laura, first kissed her older brothers best mate at V2005! The next day no one spoke about it in front of her brother Dave, making things more than a little bit akward as we all knew what had gone on!
The very first act we saw at our very first ever V was Goldie Lookin Chain who opened with the song: ” I wanna f**k your sister!!”. It certainly worked in breaking the ice and everyone was laughing!

This is now our 4th V and Laura and Lewis are still together and very much looking forward to seeing GLC again this year!!!!!

Laura Mansell

Thank you Laura, both Laura’s, that truly is a V love moment.
